Bravery is a great deed anyone can do, and Elvira did it without considering her age.
Elvira is 95 years old and was out with her friend Tina who is 80 years old. Both the old women were doing fine until something horrific came their way and ruined their day.
The ladies were climbing up the lift of a block of flats in Bilbao. They were waiting for the lift to reach the ground floor where they both were standing.
A young strange man was standing beside them waiting for the same lift. When the lift reached the floor, the young man opened the door for them.
Elvira entered first and Tina was following her. When Tina was about to enter the lift, the young man suddenly grabbed her necklace to pulled it out of her neck. Unfortunately, some precious stones from the necklace fell off and the young man had to pick them up before leaving.
Elvira saw what had happened and did not waste any second before she jumped on the thief to try to stop him from running away. Due to her fragile body, Elvira couldn’t keep a hold on him for long.
The thief pushed the two women aside and ran off with the necklace.
Disregarding of her age and her fragile body, Elvira did not think twice before acting brave to support her friend. She did a great job despite failing to stop the thief from running off with the necklace.
