The American Heart Association recommends a maximum of 150 calories or 37.5 grams of added sugar per day for men. Women should take a maximum of 100 calories or 25 grams of added sugar per day. One coke can has more sugar than the recommended amount. Most of us are surprised to know how we end up taking excessive sugar in many physical ways. During the interview, Green described sugar (in addition to trans fat and refined grains) as a chemical that increases the risk of inflammation, especially foot inflammation. 7. Impaired brain, particularly after meals

Excessive sugar consumption triggers accelerated blood sugar peaks and falls. Improper blood sugar regulation increases the risk of brain impairment and cognitive problems.
8. Things that used to be sweet are no longer sweet
