In today’s world, men want their rights and recognition. But they have to face difficulties while raising a child as compared to women.
Being a father is not an easy job. Fathers have to perform hard duties along with mothers. Both parents work mutually to make things better. Throughout the development of a child, both mother and father patiently perform upbringing, they take care of every nitty-gritty of the child.
The problem which men face is the stereotype that only women should take care of a child as if it were assigned to them by God Almighty. Women, however, are provided with facilities to raise children but men are not provided with any such facility.
This issue in the form of unfairness can be observed in public toilets for men where they are not provided with changing tables. Owing to which they face difficulty in changing the diapers of their children.
A person named, Donte Palmer took a step and showed that how fathers can change diapers of their children in public washrooms without changing tables. In which he was holding his son in his lap and on knees.
As Donte’s photo went viral on social media most of the men started posting such pictures of changing diapers as support to Donte. These pictures took the shape of a movement with hashtag #squatforchange.
As men are irritated of this unfair behavior and changing diapers without changing tables so they have started demanding changing tables in public bathrooms. As changing tables are only made available in ladies bathroom which causes a lot of inconveniences.
As the pictures took shape of a movement so, it caught the attention of John Legend and a famous diaper brand named pampers.
Pampers in collaboration with John Legend and koalakare took an initiative and installed 5,000 tables for changing diapers in public restrooms.
