And who could blame them? To be struck by the news of not one but two new babies? Who wouldn’t jump up and down with excitement?

To be fair, the 23-year-old mother and her loving husband had already had a child before. But the thought of a second child accompanied by a third one was heart-warming beyond words. Still, the good news didn’t stop there! After about a few months, the doctors were gladly telling the parents about their findings from the results of the ultrasound. Turns out, Kinova was not just expecting two, but four beautiful babies!

The parents were extremely happy to have four new additions to their good small family. However, when a second ultrasound was conducted, it was found that the young mother bore not four, but five babies!

Kinova was unable to contain her excitement and the maternal passion for all five babies. She had an emotional breakdown, and her joy was beyond words. “When we finally found a fifth head, I started to cry,” said Kinova.

It was impossible to find the exact sex of the babies because two of them were even out of the ultrasound. Kinova stated that the doctors were unable to see much of the kids, as the only things visible were one head and some legs.

Nevertheless, Kinova knew her way, as she announced that she would be personally nursing all five of her babies. She had previously breastfed her first child for almost a year and a half and wished to do the same for all five of her children.

“I very much look forward to seeing how they will look,” Kinova said while expressing her curiosity about the kids before giving birth. Her chances of giving natural birth to the quintuplets were one in seven million.

The delivery room was crowded at the time of the birth by a team of 40 doctors and midwives! Twice the number of doctors had been appointed as this was surely going to be a historic birth

The father, Antonin, made it just in time for the delivery. He feared he might not make it but luckily got in time to witness the iconic birth. Despite the unprecedented tendencies of the birth, there were no complications, according to the head of the neonatal department.

And thus, five new babies were welcomed into the family. Out of the five, four were boys whereas one was a girl. The children were named Daniel, Alex, Martin, Michael, and Tereza.

Kinova’s pregnancy was the first quintuplets delivery that the Czech Republic has ever seen. It was certainly not only beautiful but also historically important.

The Czechs have been keeping the birth record since 1949 and these quintuplets are surely the first one since then. Some experts say that it has been 480 years the Czech had the quintuplets, as reported by Doctor Alena Mechurova.

The mother and her five charming little babies are having intensive care but luckily all of them are healthy. The doctors bet on a 95% chance for the kids to grow up fine and completely healthy. And we hope so too!
