A 2-Year-Old Has Been Diagnosed With The Third Stage Ovarian Cancer And Needs All Of Our Prayers

The world is still waiting for the cure of the last stage of cancer, but the medical researchers are still on the path of making that progress.

Israeli scientists have claimed that have discovered the cure for cancer but human trials are still being conducted, and the medicine won’t be available at least till 2020.

It is not only the patient that suffers from the disease, but it is also the family that has to undergo severe stress.

McKenna Shea Xydias, a 2-year-old has been diagnosed with the third stage ovarian cancer. It is one of the rarest cases, but it is also a known fact that children aged five or below are highly prone to cancers.

The parents of McKenna, Megan, and Michael became concerned about their daughter when they noticed a bulge on the stomach of McKenna.

A pediatrician didn’t perceive the bulge as a severe health issue and declared that the following might be the result of constipation.

The parents were relieved at that moment but when they received a call from McKenna’s school nurse who informed them that McKenna is down with a fever of 103 degrees and is also going through a massive swelling on her stomach.

The parents were alarmed by the news and took their daughter to a medical practitioner, but even now they were told this is just a minor issue and is something that they shouldn’t worry about.

But this time both Michael and Megan weren’t satisfied and wished for further clinical studies. They took McKenna to Scottish Rite Hospital, and after her ultrasound was done by the doctor’s, it became clear that McKeena’s ovaries do have a growing malignant tumor.

Megan and Michael made the right decision of conducting further assessments for their daughter because in the third stage the tumor can be removed. McKenna’s tumor has been removed, and she would be home soon.

The fight for cancer can be tough, but no what no matter what stage it is the will power of a person can still turn things around.
