She was only gone for a few minutes when she heard crying noises. When she rushed, she found her younger son drowned in the bathtub.

Amy immediately pulled the plug and grabbed Oliver out of the bath. The horrified mother then called the emergency services after desperately performing CPR on the toddler.

But Oliver could not be saved, and he died in June this year.

Marianne Johnson, the assistant coroner, told the Boston coroners court that Amy had to check on the laundry on the radiator. The boys were playing and laughing when she left. Amy went to the bedroom to check on the washing.

When she was sorting the laundry, she heard one of her sons shouting out loudly. When she came, her youngest son was drowned under water.

Amy believed that Oliver was able to support himself in the bathtub. The coroner said that there is no evidence showing Amy had any intent to drown Oliver.
