A Man Shared 10-Step Guide On How To Make A Cat Take A Pill And It’s Hilarious

Nick wrote: “How To Give A Cat A Pill” 

step 1: Put on some medieval armor… this is going to be a battle.

Step 2: Protect your weak spots, your cat WILL go straight for the Kill.

Step 3: After surviving the initial onslaught, toss a blanket or towel on the cat and wrap it nice and tight like a burrito… a burrito filled with claws and rage.

I will murder everything that you love.

Step 4: At some point your cat will begin to cast dark spells. 

Be sure to use your counter spells with clear pronunciation. You are now fighting for your soul.

Step 5: BY now, your cat has likely spread its bat-like wings and has sprung free from your burrito cocoon. Run for cover.

Step 6: While your fur demon begins its path of destruction, load the pill into something that can shoot it fast and accurately.

Step 7: LOCK eyes with your cat. This is cat language for battle. Once eye contact is made, the cat will accept your invitation of war and swoop down towards you.

Step 8: Before you’re engulfed in flames, fire that pill into the beast’s Mouth.

Step 9: If You’ve survived and the pill hit its target, your cat will return to the shadows… You have won this battle!

Step 10: Now get some rest… for tomorrow is a new day… and you’ll have to do that all over again.

Nick told Bored Panda: “I’ve given pills to my own cat and some shelter cats I volunteer at,” 

“It’s never a fun experience, haha. It’s kind of always been a battle.”

“[Or] little tricks [like] scuffing, wrapping the cat in a blanket, and popping the jaw open behind the back teeth. Still, once the pill goes in the mouth, it always pops back out, haha. That’s the battle.”
