A CCTV camera has caught an unfortunate moment of a driver accidentally reversing her car into the man who was trying to help her park.

The woman was trying to park her hatchback at a restaurant when the good Samaritan decided to help her reverse the car by providing directions. But the poor man was left with broken legs and fractured ribs as the woman lost control of the car and pinned him against the wall.

The bizarre incident that took place a couple of weeks ago in Hanoi, Vietnam, was recorded by a CCTV camera.

In the footage that was recorded, the car can be seen alongside the parking bay. Noticing the hesitation of the driver, a man wearing a blue T-shirt and shorts stops to help.

He goes to the behind and gives a signal to the driver that it is safe to reverse the vehicle.

As the woman starts reversing her car, the man stands against a sidewall to safely get out of the way.

However, instead of reversing straight into the parking spot, the car turns directly towards the sidewall where the good man was standing and without giving him the time to escape, it pins him against the wall.

The unfortunate man is then seen falling on the ground as the car moves away from the sidewall.

Seeing the accident, passers-by and other motorists then come toward the spot to see if he is alright. The driver who was responsible for the event hesitatingly comes out of the car to see the damage she has caused to the man.

After the incident, the man was taken to a nearby hospital where doctors revealed that his legs and ribs got fractured during the accident.
