Even without you trying, everyday life will find a way to make your day chaotic.
It’s not as if you’re looking for it, but the way people act and the way things fall together create hundreds, if not thousands, of data stimuli that can easily overwhelm your senses in a single day.
Of course, in this day of instant gratification, such things as sleeping pills or alcohol offer some ways to deaden the senses somewhat and provide temporary relief from the minutiae of daily life. But given how easy it is to get addicted to such substances, one has to question the long-term efficacy of such a coping mechanism.
And then there’s yoga, meditation, and even walks in the park. All of these will certainly help but perhaps there are times that you’re just too busy or too tired to bother.
