The United States woke up frustrated and sleep deprived on Monday morning as the president Donald Trump announced “Making Daylight Saving Time permanent is O.

K. with me!”

On his Twitter account. But the president is as tired as the rest of the nation of setting the clock twice a year.

Most of the citizens of the United States have to set their clock for “spring forward” on the morning of March 10. March 10 was the selected date for saving daylight in 2019 but no this is not going to end in just one day. The daylight saving practice will stop on November 3 and until then, the citizens of the country will have to suffer.

Well if President Donald Trump’s statement is to be worked upon then this year it may happen that the people might not have to set their clocks back to the regular time.

So how did this Day Light saving plan came into existence?

Well, it did not start a day or two ago but its roots fall back into 1895. In the year to 1895, George Hudson was the one who proposed the idea with a perspective of saving energy.

It was then brought into use in 1918 at the time of World War 1. The idea was implemented in order to save energy and fuel resources at the time of war and to be able to work for a longer time as that is what was needed to be done.

It was then repealed as soon as World War 1 ended.

The practice was again adopted at the time when the second world war broke out.

Now it looks like President Trump is in favor to adopt the practice as a permanent one which means that most of the part of the United States will now permanently run on the summer time.

Although, there are some states who have opted not to take the plan as they are comfortable working in their own time.
