Sister Wives star Garrison Brown, the son of Janelle Brown and Kody Brown, was found dead in his Arizona home at the age of 25.
Reports revealed that he was found lifeless by his brother Gabriel, with police telling TMZ that Garrison appeared ‘to have suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound.’
Flagstaff police also said an investigation has been launched but foul play was not suspected.
Janelle took to Instagram and confirmed the heartbreaking news, writing: “Kody and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy Robert Garrison Brown. He was a bright spot in the lives of all who knew him.
“His loss will leave such a big hole in our lives that it takes our breath away. We ask that you please respect our privacy and join us in honoring his memory.”
Kody also shared the same statement on his Instagram page.
In a statement to PEOPLE, Lieutenant Charles M. Hernandez II of the Flagstaff Police Department said: “On 03/05/2024 Flagstaff Police officers responded to a report of a death inside a home.”
The also confirmed that Garrison’s brother, Gabriel, ‘discovered Mr. Brown deceased.’
“At this time there is not any indication of foul play, and Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division are investigating.”
TLC also issued a statement to the news outlet: “We are devastated to hear of the tragic loss of Garrison Brown. We extend our deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to the Brown family at this difficult time.”
It was in 2010 when Garrison was first introduced to viewers alongside his siblings, his mother Janelle, and his father’s other wives, in the TLC series that follows the polygamist family’s daily routine.
Garrison moved with his family to Nevada and he enlisted in the National Guard.
