A groom’s wedding vows have been slammed online after the videographer for the big day shared the clip on TikTok.
While most wedding vows are emotional and reflect the deep emotions and love of the groom and bride, one man decided to use the moment to make jokes that would leave anyone present red-faced.
Videographer Jonathan Pajak captured the moment Michael delivered his vows to his beautiful bride named Destiny.
Before the ceremony, Pajak said he asked Michael: “Anything you want to say to your future bride?”
The groom then responded: “I hope we have a lot of s*x.”
He then showed the video of the exchange and viewers were horrified, with one person commenting: “Me and my husband have this sense of humor together. But our wedding vows? I’d be mortified.”
Another wrote: “I could not even FATHOM my future person diminishing me in that way. Like not one single thing about who she is was said. It’s disheartening. I hurt.”
A third said: “I can’t even imagine thinking that’s acceptable to say at your wedding, and then he didn’t even attempt to memorize it at all on top of that.”
Someone else added: “That’s actually disgusting.. i would walk right out of that wedding if i was the bride.”
Destiny Lentini eventually commented on the viral video to put everyone’s minds at ease.
She wrote: “So I’m the bride and no this isn’t a red flag. we have been together for 10 years now and decided to get married right before our 10th year.”
A friend of the couple also commented: “Everyone in the comments freaking out while his wife is cracking up. Context matters folks.”
