Millie Bobby Brown has announced her engagement to Jake Bongiovi in a heartwarming post on Instagram.

The Stranger Things star, 19, shared a black and white photo of her with Bongiovi, 20. In the image, she can be seen smiling and wearing a diamond ring as he wrapped his arms around her.

The actress confirmed their engagement as she captioned her post: “I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, I want ‘em all.”

Taylor Swift’s fans immediately recognized her caption as the lyrics to 2019 song ‘Lover,’ which the singer wrote for Joe Alwyn.

But many fans were quick to react and say Bobby Brown made a bad decision when making her announcement because Swift and Alwyn had just ended their six-year relationship.

One person took to Twitter and wrote: Millie Bobby Brown announcing her engagement using lyrics from Lover the week we find out about Joe and Taylor’s break up is cold as f**k.”

Another wrote: “Millie Bobby Brown using a lover lyric to announce her engagement while Taylor Swift is going through a break up is ev*l.”

A third added: “Not Millie using a Taylor Swift lyrics when Taylor literally just broke up with her boyfriend.”

Many also said that the actress is still ‘too young’ to be getting engaged.

But her fans have come to her defense, with one writing: “A person can marry at any time. It’s her choice and it’s not yours.”

Taylor Swift herself also reacted to Bobby Brown’s engagement announcement as she is now one of the millions of people who liked her post.

For those who do not know, Jake is the son of legendary rock star Jon Bon Jovi.

Bobby Brown revealed that they first started talking on social media and things quickly escalated from there.

In an interview with WIRED, she said: “We met on Instagram. And we were friends for a bit, and then, what can I say?”
