‘My Boyfriend’s House Is Full Of C*** And Makes Me Feel Dirty – Should I Let Him Move In With Me?’

An upset woman asked the internet for advice after her “dirty” boyfriend asked her if he could move in with her.

According to the lady in question, she has a house of her own, which she fully owns, and is a mother to two grown-up children who still live with her.

She also has a boyfriend whom she has been dating for three years.

While their relationship seemed to be doing okay for some time, the woman can’t get past her boyfriend’s laziness and the constant mess in his one-bedroom apartment.

“His 25% share of a one-bed flat is messy and dusty and cupboards are full of c**p,” she wrote in her Mumsnet post.

“He is wanting to take things further and almost move in with me. I own my house outright and have two children at home in their 20s.”

The mother also explained that her boyfriend prefers watching TV to doing chores as she admitted she was worried he would continue being lazy and useless should she let him move in with her.

“To start with it wasn’t too bad as his parents visited so it was cleaner but sadly no more. I feel dirty in it. I have made gentle comments but they fall on deaf ears. He’d rather watch TV than mop the floor or tackle a room,” she added.

After sharing her concerns on the internet, the woman was quickly warned not to fall into her boyfriend’s trap by letting him move in with her.

“He might be a nice person but if you let him in your house there’s a chance he’ll never change and you’ll be stuck with a man-child,” someone wrote.

“I wouldn’t be in a relationship with someone who can’t keep their living space clean. If he doesn’t do it now, he certainly won’t do it when you move in together. Don’t waste your time on this one,” another said.
