Vin Diesel and the late Paul Walker’s daughter Meadow Rain were seen posing for pictures side-by-side at the world premiere of Fast X.
The premiere for the beloved franchise’s latest installment took place in Rome, Italy, and was attended by 55-year-old Hollywood legend Vin Diesel who plays Dominic Toretto in the Fast and Furious movies.
The main star was joined by Meadow Rain Walker who posed alongside her late father’s close friend in a sheer black floral skirt and a satin dark blue-green blouse.
“The first fast was released when I was one year old! I grew up on set watching my father, Vin, Jordana, Michelle, Chris and more on the monitors. Thanks to my dad, I was born into the fast family,” Meadow wrote in an emotional statement honoring the franchise’s latest movie.
Her dad, Paul Walker, appeared in five Fast and Furious movies before tragically dying in a single-vehicle car crash back on November 30, 2013.
“I can’t believe now I get to be up there too. With those who have been around to see me grow up. Thank you @louisleterrierpro for your kindness, patience and support. It feels like you’ve been part of the family since we started,” the young model, who recently got married, added as she honored the Fast X director, Louis Leterrier.
Meadow also gave a shoutout to Brandon Birtel, her dad’s former producing partner and friend, whom she dubbed her best friend saying all this “wouldn’t have been possible” without him.
“I am so blessed to be able to honor my father’s legacy and share this with him forever x I love you all so much,” the model concluded.
The news comes shortly after Meadow revealed she’d be making a cameo appearance in Fast X.
According to the reports, Birtel helped make it possible for Meadow to appear in one scene filmed inside an airplane.
Fast X represents the franchise’s tenth installment. Its sequel is set to be finished and released by 2025.
