EXCLUSIVE: Top Lingerie Brand DEFENDS Decision Of Featuring ‘Non-Binary’ Model In Bra Advertisement


A leading lingerie brand from Australia is feeling the heat after it was slammed by critics across the board for featuring non-binary models in its recent advertising campaign.

Honey Birdette was blasted for using a binary model, leaving out all others, to showcase their range of women’s intimate wear. But people were not happy to see the model donning bras and parading across televisions as it made them feel uncomfortable.

The news had so many people in a state of complete and utter shock when the ad popped up and now, the brand is being forced to justify the decision as they feel they’ve done nothing wrong.

The brand says that there is nothing wrong with the campaign and that the world should be more open to experimentation and including minorities from their community instead of blasting them from entering the spotlight.

The incident arose when people generated fury after seeing the brand released three images on Instagram where Jack Dupree could be seen donning a three-piece set in red worth $460.point 451 |

While the model did not appear shy or uncomfortable, the viewers did and now, they’re blasting the brand for using a non-binary individual to spark controversy despite having plenty of female models in their lineup.point 187 | 1

The three-piece set left very little to the imagination and featured a bra, a G-string, and a pair of suspenders.

The brand has since then called out the incident and the uproar as nothing but bullying against the famed LA-based burlesque dancer.

Sources revealed how the images featured the star donning underwear and body chains in other clicks and they were taken by a leading photographer in the world of fashion, Max Bronner.
