Taylor Swift and Matt Healy have parted ways after a brief romance, TMZ reveals.
According to an insider who spoke to the publication, Taylor is now once again single though it remains unclear what exactly the cause for the split was.
The Shake It Off hitmaker and The 1975 rocker first surprised the world back in May when it was revealed they were “madly in love” just weeks after Taylor’s split from longtime partner Joe Alwyn.
Since early May, the couple appeared to be inseparable with Healy appearing at Swift’s side for a number of concerts in Nashville.
The pair were spotted enjoying each other’s presence while double dating with the friends of the ‘You Belong With Me’ hitmaker and while working at a recording studio.
Back in May, Matt was also seen visiting Taylor at her NYC home and bonding with her father during their stop in Philly.
The news of the split comes shortly after Healy was pictured kissing a male security guard during his concert.
Previously, a source close to Taylor told The Sun that the two superstars were respectful of each other and their work and that they were madly in love.
“She and Matty are madly in love. It’s super-early days, but it feels right. They first dated, very briefly, almost ten years ago but timings just didn’t work out,” the insider said last month.
“Taylor and Joe actually split up back in February, so there was absolutely no crossover. Both Matty and Taylor have been touring over the past few weeks, so it’s been a lot of Face-Timing and texting but she cannot wait to see him again.”
The source went on: “They are both massively proud and excited about this relationship and, unlike Taylor’s last one — which was very much kept out of the spotlight, deliberately — she wants to ‘own’ this romance, and not hide it away. Taylor just wants to live her life, and be happy.”
