Taylor Swift has been slammed even by her own fans after snubbing Celine Dion on the Grammys stage.

Taking to the Grammy Awards stage at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday to scoop up her Album of the Year accolade, pop star Taylor Swift looked elegant and dazzling in a white dress.

Making history, the Bad Blood hitmaker became the first person ever to accumulate four Album of the Year awards.

And while the singer was clearly in her best spirits at the time of the announcement, eagle-eyed viewers of the show quickly pointed out a “rude” and “disrespectful” action on Taylor’s side.

After the 34-year-old got on the stage, she excitedly celebrated the moment with her colleagues before taking the award from Celine’s hands without as much as making any eye contact with the 55-year-old.

“I love Taylor Swift, but she was very rude to Celine Dion. She didn’t thank her or acknowledge her at all before pulling the award from her hands,” one person complained after the video showing Swift receiving the accolade went viral.

“As someone who has defended Taylor, I can’t defend this. No acknowledgment of Celine whatsoever,” another said.

“Taylor Swift not acknowledging Celine Dion, a legend, at the Grammys, but dragging Lana to that stage? Smh,” a third wrote.

One disappointed viewer shared: “Taylor not acknowledging Celine and then SNATCHING the Grammy from her… JAIL.”

While the moment clearly caused a social media uproar, there seems to be no bad blood between Dion and Swift, whereas the two music icons were pictured posing happily backstage after the ceremony.
