TV Host Tells Robert De Niro To Get A VASECTOMY After He Welcomed His 7th Child At The Age Of 79

Hollywood legend Robert De Niro has welcomed his 7th child at the age of 79.

While the news was greeted with best wishes and enthusiasm from the actor’s fan base, not everyone appears to be on board with De Niro’s decision to have another child considering his age.

In a 9Honey column, Aussie TV host and presenter Shelly Horton blasted the actor and advised him to get a vasectomy as a Father’s Day present,

The Channel Nine host went on to slam “irresponsible” old men who choose to father children despite there being a high risk of those kids being forced to grow up without their fathers.

“It’s irresponsible to have children at that age, especially when you consider the child will undoubtedly grow up without a father for most of their life,” Horton said.

“While some may argue women shouldn’t have to sacrifice their desire to have children because their partner is older, they need to think about the long-term consequences of that decision.”

Doubling down on her rant, the presenter said it was difficult for single moms to raise children alone and that De Niro won’t be there to support his partner, who is believed to be 45 years old, physically and emotionally once he is gone.

“As parents age, they may also struggle with health issues that make it difficult for them to provide the care and attention young children require,” Horton, who is 50 years old, continued.

“I don’t think it’s responsible, at my age, to have more children. I’m going to be 70 years old, and they’ll be dealing with the things that people deal with at that age.”

The backlash comes shortly after De Niro made a shocking revelation that he just welcomed his seventh child when an ET Canada reporter asked him how it felt to be a father of six.

Its his choice. My dad had me when he was 50. I had no problem that he was older
He still did all sports and everything else dads do

He can have as many children as he wants! He is rich and they will be taken care of. They are bi-racial children maybe that is her problem with it!

First of all; it is nobody’s business what Robert DeNiro does or not do. I personally find it laughable that if he died he wouldn’t be able to support his child or his partner. Even if DeNiro died when the child is young; I’m sure that that child and DeNiro’s partner would be set for life financially! Also “a life is not measured by the number of years you have lived but rather the quality of your life. You say he is being irresponsible because he could die when the child is young. Of course that is a strong possibility; but why are you worried about DeNiro when half of all marriages end in divorce leaving their spouses to raise the children most of the time. Many ex-husbands and ex- wives are deadbeat dads and deadbeat mothers while the custodial parent is struggling to make ends meet. But you’re worried about DeNiro’s kid?! Hopefully DeNiro will live for several more years, but if he doesn’t; if DeNiro spends quality time with his child, he will instill that in the child. If you are so worried about children; worry and DO SOMETHING to help a child that doesn’t have a father; and a mom that is struggling to keep it all together; working two jobs, and has to miss their child’s little league game, or a play they are in because she has to work. As far as DeNiro’s child? I think he/she is going to be ok! Go help someone who needs it.
