Actress Emma Stone has stunned her fans with a very bizarre demand that most did not see coming.
The celeb would like to be addressed by her actual name which is Emily.
The leading La La Land star mentioned how she likes to use her birth name over the stage name any day during one of her latest interviews as mentioned by the media outlet Hollywood Interview.
“I would like to use Emily” she stated while sitting behind her ‘Curse’ co-star Nathan Fielder. The 35-year-old added how she liked to go by Emma Stone in the past because that’s what the industry got accustomed to hearing for years.
But it seems a sudden change of heart has arisen and now she is making the world know that it would be nice to attend to her wishes. As far as why she didn’t make the demand earlier, the star says that there was another SAG-AFTRA actress who had a similar name and she didn’t want to take Emily Stone for that same reason.
“Then I freaked out a few years back and thought okay, I need to have my name back. I cannot be this person that I am not so can you please”- she added.
“Then I freaked out a couple of years ago. For some reason, I was like, ‘I can’t do it anymore. Just call me Emily,’” she continued.
