The leading guitarist for The Script band, Mark Sheehan has passed away at the age of 46.
Heartbreaking tributes for the talented musician were seen making their way on social media where many fans and followers couldn’t hold back their tears as they penned down heartfelt emotions for the star.
Those that knew him spoke about his great work ethic and incredible talent that really helped The Script band become a household name around the globe.
Not only was he a leading guitarist for the band but also its co-founder and that is why his group members were seen grieving his sudden loss. In the same way, his wife penned down an emotional post as he leaves her and his young children behind.
The news was announced on Friday by his fellow Irish teammates as they requested privacy during this difficult time as those that knew his personality tried to come to the reality of this tragic loss.
“He was a much-loved father, husband, brother, bandmate, and friend”- the post read. It is believed that the star was in the hospital after a sudden brief illness but it’s not yet clear what exactly happened to him.
The devastating message sent fans into a state of complete and utter shock as they did not see the news coming. But the amount of love that started to outpour from all directions has to be commended.
Many wrote how they were just lost for words and wished the family well as they try to cope with this heartbreaking news. “I’m just so shocked and speechless. I don’t know what to say”- mentioned another and just like that, the condolences and messages continued to arrive with time.
