Madonna was allegedly left very “affected” by the criticism she had faced as a result of her numerous plastic surgeries and her ever-changing looks.
The 64-year-old pop diva came under fire after brandishing a brand-new look at the 2023 Grammy Awards back in February.
Following her appearance on the Oscars stage, the attention was quickly redirected from Madonna’s speech to the Like a Virgin hitmaker’s facial features with viewers suggesting she has gone too far with cosmetic procedures in an attempt to maintain her youthful appearance.
Now, an insider revealed that Madonna was seriously affected by the criticism and that she is now determined to do whatever it takes to “look more like her old self.”
“Despite what people think, the criticism over her drastically different appearance does affect her,” a source said, DailyMail.com reported.
“She sees and hears what people say about her and, for the tour, she wants to look more like herself again for her fans.”
The insider also suggested that the Queen of Pop will try to restore her natural looks as much as possible before her upcoming Celebration Tour.
While the singer seemingly has great plans when it comes to her transformation, she doesn’t have much time to act due to the first concert of her upcoming tour being scheduled for July 15.
“It may be her last tour, so she wants to make it perfect. She is incredible shape and her body is sick,” a source added.
“This is her labor of love. Her perfectionism is driving everyone up the wall but she does not care. The crew is working their a** off because everyone wants to make her happy. She has no issues whatsoever with firing someone at the drop of a hat.”
