Lizzo has threatened to quit her singing career over fat-shaming comments and cruel posts about her weight and looks.

The 35-year-old performer and entrepreneur has long served as an advocate for plus-size women and body positivity and has proudly flaunted her curves on stage on countless occasions.

Now, however, the Juice hitmaker threatened to bring her career to an end in response to cruel jibes and comments she is continuously being subjected to on the internet.

Lizzo took her fans by surprise as she reshared a comment made by author Layah Heilpern along with an angry message to her haters.

The original comment read: “How is Lizzo still THIS fat when she’s constantly moving this much on stage?! I wonder what she must be eating.”

Responding, Lizzo said: “JUST logged on and the app and this is the type of s*** I see about me on a daily basis. It’s really starting to make me hate the world.

“Then someone in the comments said I eat ‘lots of fast food.’ I LITERALLY STOPPED EATING FAST FOOD YEARS AGO… I’m tired of explaining myself all the time and I just wanna get on this app w/out seeing my name in some bulls***.”

The beloved singer and dancer, who launched a plus-size fashion line back in 2022, went on to say she hates Twitter because of all the bullying while suggesting she could be quitting her career altogether in response to cruel comments.

“Y’all really need to touch grass. I’m not trying to BE fat I’m not trying to BE smaller I’m literally just trying to live and be healthy. This is what my body looks like even when I’m eating super clean and working out!” she raged on.

“Yall speak on s*** y’all know NOTHING ABOUT and I’m starting to get heated. I HATE IT HERE. The Love definitely do not outweigh the Hate on social media… all because I’m fat???? This is CRAZY.”

The lengthy rant continued: “Y’all don’t know how close I be to giving up on everyone and quitting and enjoying my money and my man on a F*****G FARM.

“I literally NEVER search my name this stuff just comes up on my TL & my FYP it’s wild. I swear I just wanna look at dance videos and science news and this s*** comes in every day…”

Lizzo went on to sign off by paying a tribute to her inclusive clothing brand before telling her haters to F- off for picking on her mission to promote body positivity.
