Lionel Messi Tests POSITIVE For Covid-19 After Seen Partying With Wife At A Concert


Star player Lionel Messi has reportedly tested positive for COVID-19.

The player’s Paris Saint-Germain team confirmed the news, adding how is a part of the four players who have been confirmed as having the virus.

At the moment, all the players have been kept in isolation and are being subjected to appropriate health protocol.

Meanwhile, other reports have gone on to mention how the 34-year-old star was seen spending his winter break back in Argentina, alongside his wife. Moreover, images of the duo went viral as they attended a concert that was packed with others.

The famous striker was pictured and filmed as he danced with his wife. He was also seen singing at the concert that took place earlier this week.

Now, the PSG says that he and the three other players have contracted the illness.

While Messi is still in his country of Argentina, that means he will only be allowed to travel back once he has tested negative for the virus.

Hearing the news, the French giant team was quick to confirm the news how their leading player was currently in isolation and is amongst four others to have contracted the virus.

The three other players who have reportedly tested positive from the same team include Sergio Rico, Nathan Bitumazala, and Juan Bernat. But it’s still not clear whether or not Messi got the virus while he was at the concert or not.

Meanwhile, the renowned club’s next major game will be played against Vannes in the French Cup, which is reportedly scheduled for Monday. And that’s right before the giants take on Lyon in the January 9th league match.
