Actress and singer Hilary Duff is making some shocking allegations regarding her personal life and it’s not being taken too well by netizens online.

The starlet mentioned how much she wanted to allow her 9-year-old son to watch her give birth live. And many felt that was the most off-putting statement that a leading celeb like her could make.

Duff says for her, becoming a mother is one of the most life-changing experiences of all time. After giving birth, she has found a whole new respect for all women, including herself.

“You never really know how strong you are until you come to a life-changing experience. And for me, it was linked to becoming a mother. There is nothing in this world that compares to that endeavor”- she adds.

Therefore, she feels a lot of mothers go unappreciated most of the time. And for that reason, she thinks that it’s high time her son gets a little taste of what mothers go through in this world during the whole childbirth and delivery process.

“I want him to see how strong women are in this world. He needs to realize that. And I want him to grow up to become a good man”- she continued.

But netizens and trolls were quick to blast the star for thinking like this and for promoting such a concept which they felt was not only basic but as ridiculous as can be.

Duff is slamming her haters and critics for calling her out. She says that morals and values really do matter to her and it’s about time that people taught males how hard it is to be a woman and to give birth.

“I am just so big on being honest and open about these kinds of things. So that’s why I’m going to stick to how I feel and now what society finds acceptable”- she explained.
