Helen Mirren may be 77 but she’s in no mood to put up with trolls who want her to look a certain way.

The famous celeb says she was shocked when people were quick to blast her for having long hair because they felt she was way too old for the look.

The starlet says long hair or short, she’s going to be living life according to her expectations and not what people feel she should say or do with her life.

The 77-year-old says she is just so appalled sometimes by people’s words and how she should keep long hair because of her advancing age.

The leading British actress who made an appearance for a sit-down interview says she loves the way she looks and feels at this age and is simply learning to take things slow and steady.

“I love my hair the way it is right now. I feel like I deserve to look good and feel good about myself and my body. I began growing my hair during the start of the pandemic and I adored how the style suits me so much. My loved ones agreed and that’s why you’ll see me flaunting the look now”- she continued.

I agree that having longer hair than what I am used to is a radical change, some people are really unforgiving and I just don’t see why- the star continued.

She feels that life is only as great as you make it and there’s no time to spread hate in today’s day and age.

The leading actress says she loves to fly the flag high for women that are above the age of 60. The fact that she can serve as a role model for them has people really looking up to her.

“I am kind of enjoying it. It’s just so fabulous”- she adds.
