Sources from local media outlets are shedding light on a love story like no other. It features a couple who has literally been through so much, but no matter what, they never left one another’s side.
This is the unique love story of Laura and Galen. They have been madly in love for so long and reportedly met in college. So that makes them young sweethearts.
It was in 2005 that Laura recalls meeting her husband while seated at a small lunch table at the liberal arts school in Minnesota. Laura mentioned how she was so intrigued by his t-shirt and began to inquire about it.
And that’s when she got home and sent out a message related to it. The chat began like that and before you know it, one thing led to another.
The duo shared things with one another and spoke about whether or not they wished to hang out. At that time. Galen was a male so he agreed but it was not always like this.
The pair met at a specific location on campus and spoke throughout the night. The conversations were just so easy and they kept on continuing for a while.
“It was just so easy to talk and we instantly clicked”- they continued and they liked being in one another’s presence.
So the duo spoke and spoke and then before they knew it and they went out and tied the knot as they had that spark.
From the start to finish, everything was going fine but that’s when her husband felt he wanted to transition into a female. Yes, as bizarre as that sounds, it’s the truth.
Galen spoke about how badly she wanted to be a girl since birth and now had the sudden urge to do it. Interestingly, Laura did not mind and today, the duo says their bond and love are just as strong, even though loved ones have their reservations.
