The Met Gala is just days away and with the theme and guest list for this year’s grand fashion event out, the countdown has begun.
But how can there ever be an event in Hollywood without controversy taking center stage? And this time around, it involves billionaire Kylie Jenner and an Italian model.
The model says he was fired from the Met Gala by the organizing team because he managed to attain more attention from viewers than Jenner herself. And despite standing behind her and assisting her with her dress and accessories, he still managed to overshadow the celeb.
This is why you won’t be seeing Eugenio Casnighi return for this year’s grand and much-anticipated event. While he admits that he’s a fan of the star herself, this was never something he had imagined in a million years.
“That was never my intention to outshine her. She’s beautiful and famous in every single way”- he added.
The model worked as a greeter who accompanied Jenner at the Met Gala and with the stage set for the event on Monday, it’s said to be a grand event for obvious reasons. And he’s bummed because he won’t be there for a reason that he’s got no control over.
Whatever the case may be, one thing is for sure. He’s gone viral for his extremely good looks and his social media is exploding with nothing but love, views, and engagement. And that’s not something he or anyone would mind, right?
