The 21-year-old woman who claimed to be the missing toddler Madeleine McCann is sparking a new controversy after returning back to her home country.

The Polish national has opted to begin her own GoFundMe and is now urging people to donate because she wishes to get back on her own two feet and do something for herself.

21-year-old Julia Wendell published a shocking post where she can be seen urging netizens to grant her financial assistance so she can make it out of this difficult time.

“I feel so shameful to ask anyone for any kind of help. But I am desperate as this is the only way out”- she began to mention in her fundraiser post.

Julia goes on to reveal how her goal is to use the funds to pay her bills for both lawyers and therapists as she has found a new meaning to her life and its purpose.

The news comes as the 21-year-old pleads to fans to help her come out of this dark phase, ever since the DNA results were released that proved she was lying and wasn’t Madeleine McCann.

Providing the link for her GoGetFunding website, Julia says she has no plans of returning back to her parents. She feels abused and discriminated against and can’t stand seeing her parents’ faces.

But her mother has spoken on national television that this young girl happens to be suffering from mental problems and needs help.

The fundraiser has been linked to her Instagram account. And this is where she says that she has gotten the courage to start her own fundraiser as her fans encouraged her to do so.

“A lot of people wish to help me but they just don’t know how to”- she adds. “Please don’t be rude to me. If you want to help, great but if not, I understand”- she concluded.

But not a lot of netizens were happy with the news. They don’t feel comfortable trusting her with the money, especially after speculations arose that this is the third time that we’ve seen her fake being a missing person.
