A babysitter from Virginia was reportedly charged with murder after leaving an innocent baby girl and a dog inside a car during scorching hot outdoor temperatures.
According to reports from local media outlets, the victim was just 11 months old. She was left alone in the vehicle for eight and a half hours and by the time the babysitter had returned, the baby was found unresponsive.
The babysitter panicked as she knew that she could no longer feel the heartbeat and therefore feared for the worst. She then trashed the baby’s remains inside a large black colored trash bag put in the back of the car and tried to make a run for it.
The child was discovered by onlookers who called rescue 911 services to try and determine if the child could be saved. But that was not the case. She was given first aid but in vain. The child suffered from serious heat damage and her organs had stopped functioning.
The parents are now mourning the loss of their young child as the babysitter is now behind bars and has been charged with the horrific crime of taking a young child’s life, knowing very well that it would be impossible for anyone to survive in this heat.
