The country’s commander-in-chief has been known for having a sort of resentment and strong feelings toward the UK but the president was all smiles after his touch down at the base where he sat down for tea with Prime Minister Rishi.

Rishi made Bide feel ever so welcomed and right at home. And that’s when the President announced that he was here to listen and not get in the middle of any controversies that are known for popping out of nowhere.

Dressed in a black colored suit and tie, Biden looked great as did his counterpart host. Rishi mentioned during a press conference later on how he and President are known for holding strong ties and are very close partners.

He told the press not to mistake any sort of banter as all things were great on both ends and the meeting with the President went all over overall.

But despite holding talks with the UK Prime Minister, there has been great criticism for Biden. Many questioned why he had arrived at the military base in the UK while going into detail about his partisan pro-Irish stance.

For those who might not be aware, Biden got a lot of slack for mentioning how a former UK ambassador to the US discovered that one of his ancestors wrote mutiny rules for the British navy.

But the way this visit was going, things looked to be in Biden’s favor. He had zero resentments and met with nothing but good gestures and smiles.

However, many did wonder why the President was in such a rush during the meeting as he was whisked off soon to the Republic of Ireland where he will spend three days.
