Amber Heard has reportedly left the States and moved to Spain indefinitely.
In a piece for The Daily Mail, Alison Boshoff claimed that the Aquaman actress left Hollywood in the past to opt for a quieter life in Europe.
Since she had famously lost in her defamation trial against ex-husband Johnny Depp, Heard has remained absent from the spotlight both in her personal and work life.
Now, it was also alleged that the Paranoia star quietly moved to Spain, just outside Madrid, where she is set to remain with her daughter Oonagh for the foreseeable future.
“She’s bilingual in Spanish and is happy there, raising her daughter away from all the noise,” the publication wrote while quoting a friend.
“I don’t think she is in any hurry to return to work or to Hollywood, but she will probably come back when the time is right, for the right project.”
The news comes less than a year after Heard sold her $1.1 million home in Yucca Valley, California.
Later last year, in October, the actress was spotted enjoying the beach in Mallorca, one of Spain’s Balearic Islands known for its beach resorts and pristine coves shortly after a source confirmed that she would focus on spending more time with her daughter.
“For now, she wants to just focus on her baby girl. The trial took away a lot of special mommy time. Amber is looking forward to a summer with her daughter and family,” the insider said last June.
As of this writing, it is unclear how long Heard intends to stay in Spain and whether she has any professional projects in the plans for her near future.
