Her predecessor, Melania Trump, has not been able to achieve this goal.

Dr. Jill Biden had been described in a lengthy profile attached with a fashion publication and 6,000 words to describe the First Lady. Her photos were taken by photographer Annie Leibovits, the same photographer to take former First Lady Michelle Obama’s pictures when she was on the cover of the magazine.

Biden had modeled a $2,690 gown that came from Oscar de la Renta on the cover of her photo, showing off the Truman Balcony located at the White House.

The First Lady is described as a “joy multiplier, a goddess, driven, tirelessly, effortlessly popular, but also someone who reminds us of ourselves”. Vogue also adds that she is a “very stylish person who even in jeans and a cashmere sweater over an untucked chambray looks totally pulled together”.

The public audience is questioning as to why Melania Trump was never given the opportunity in her four years of being First Lady, albeit former First Lady Michelle Obama landing the spot three times and then Biden making her debut this 2021.

Her cover story was posted online and talks about her job as a teacher, how she travels along the country, and describes her marriage to current president, Joe Biden, who also provided quotes for Vogue to publish with her article.

Vogue mentions one of Biden’s past fashion incidents where she wore a patterned stocking and had moved the Internet in her choice of leg wear. She says that they were very pretty stockings, but it was amazing how much people had paid attention to every detail of it.

When choosing her clothes, she likes to “choose from a diverse group of designers. When I was planning my Inauguration outfits, that’s one of the things I considered”.

She doesn’t always choose outfits on her own, she will get assistance sometimes such as this cover shoot. Fashion director, Tonne Goodman, had styled her in clothes that were worth up to $9,000 of designs.
