But the landlord did not reach out to help the housekeeper who was in danger.

The landlord barely noticed the housekeeper holding the window sill and even filmed her with a camera.

The landlord posted a video of her on the SNS, as if she didn’t care that the woman was hurt and hospitalized.

The local residents shouted out strong criticism and anger towards the landlord, and the Kuwaiti Human Rights Association and the police started to investigate.

When the criticism started to grow out of hand the landlord said, “I thought I might be blamed for killing her if she fell down so I took the video.”

On the other hand, the housekeeper said she plans to sue the landlord with the lawyers of human rights associations who have been trying to help her.

In Kuwait, a person can be sentenced to up to three months of prison if they do not knowingly help someone at risk.
