Dogs are said to be man’s best friend and this video shows exactly why.

There are many reasons why we may get separated from our pets. Business trips, extended hospital stays, and even long vacations can keep us away from our dogs for weeks, or even months, at a time. Which makes a reunion all that more special.

Excited yowls and nervous excitement are par for the course when a dog finally gets to meet its owner again. It’s definitely a welcome sight to lift the spirits when we find out how much we’re missed and that we mean so much to them. It’s no wonder that some people prefer to spend more time with their pets than with other people!

In the image below, the owner spent a long time in the hospital because he was very ill.

His dog tentatively approached him and wasn’t even sure who he was. But after a sniff confirmed that this was, indeed, his owner he immediately took off to smother his beloved master with licks and hugs. His tail almost flies off with how forcefully he was wagging it!

This kid, on the other hand, lost his dog eight months ago when it wandered off and didn’t come back.

However, a friend managed to locate the dog and the pair were reunited in this emotional moment on their front yard. The way the boy was sobbing and hugging his beloved pet will bring a tear to your eye.

Reuniting with one’s beloved pet is always a happy event and the best part of it is that the love and joy are always reciprocated.
