Becoming a parent is undoubtedly the biggest change we undergo in our lives.
Although the other events such as graduation, marriage, also affect you, but your life changes completely once you become a parent.
Mike Julianelle, who runs a famous blog called Dad and Buried, not only realized this fact but he also took it to next level by adding a touch of fun to it!
Julianelle started a hilariously funny trend by inspiring people to share photos before and after they became parents so as to show how they got ‘ruined’ by their kids.
The man himself is a father to two kids and has been showing the painfully funny truth about being a parent for quite some time. But things really took off for him when he uploaded a series of ‘Before and After Parenthood’ pictures.
Julianelle told Bored Panda: “I had been creating a series of memes showing rooms [and] stuff kids have destroyed and after I posted a photo of my before/after face, a user suggested I make it a series and ask for submissions. It was a great idea!”
He further added that with his blog, he aims to provide a feeling of solidarity along with some humor for the parents who face challenges while raising their kids. “[It] has always been about not taking this gig too seriously, and these photos are a great way to visually represent that. Everyone who submits is in on the joke, we all love our kids but there’s no denying the toll parenting takes! If you can’t laugh about it you’ll never survive!”
